(New Orleans, LA)--July 2- What an awesome time at this year's Essence Festival. But, a funny story to share with you. During Friday night's concert I ended up being stuck in a certain part of the Super Dome for hours. As luck would have it, I got stuck in the dressing rooms of Jennifer Hudson, Charlie Wilson and Fantasia. Yeah, lucky me! I waited for almost 4 hours before finally stepping in Jennifer's direction because again she was getting dressed , playing with her son David and being absolutely warm and inviting to every single person who sought after an autograph or photo. At the end of her fabulous performance we got an opportunity to talk about her continued weight loss and her challenge of being in New Orleans, Louisiana and not eating red meat. I pointed her in the direction of some "chicken gumbo" and quite a few other Cajun menu items sure to help her enjoy all the "flavor" the City of New Orleans has to offer. Oh yeah, as you see here, she's beautiful, tall and very thin. I enjoyed watching her watch her son play with everyone from her body guards, to the managers and dancers in her entourage until 2am! Jen hope you got to enjoy the Crescent City Saturday, because you've earned it--outstanding performance Friday night.
